Andreco (b. 1978) is an artist and scientist. He is also an environmental engineer specializing in sustainable resource management in different climatic conditions. He holds a postgraduate degree in “green technologies” for urban sustainability, collaborating with the School of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Bologna and Columbia University in New York.
His artistic research focuses on the relationship between human beings and nature, between the built environment and the natural landscape.
Since 2000, Andreco has been dedicated to researching different themes such as anatomy, environmental sustainability, urbanism, ecology and symbolism, which are the basis for creating new symbologies.
Andreco uses different techniques to represent his art, from public installations to videos or mural paintings and drawings.
Andreco has worked for several international festivals, museums and galleries.
