COLECTIVO TIL
Portugal
Colectivo Til was formed in 2015 by people from different disciplines, who came together with a common interest in co-creation materials and processes, as well as in civic and social intervention by questioning and valuing places.
Along its path, the collective has worked with various social and cultural institutions, exploring the frontiers between art, architecture and education. In the form of temporary installations, or processes of participatory and community construction, the collective's projects invite reflection on what public space is, understanding it in its multiple dimensions, cultural, social, natural and material.
The collective's projects are always seeking to activate common possibilities in each community and place, encouraging knowledge and the invention of material lives and contributing with a critical attitude that fosters solidary and circular economies.
Guided by the guideline of learning by doing, an experimental and pedagogical approach is combined with material processes that become moments of true appropriation, exploration and collective discussion.
