Sawu is an architecture studio specialized in tactical actions, which works along several lines, ranging from the landscape to the ludic, understanding their works as something ephemeral, which seeks to activate memory, reflection and sensitivity more than leaving a physical mark.

They create participatory installations that reinforce community bonds and, as a result of the process, leave interactive, playful installations that are coherent with their environment. Through participatory processes, visions of environments are outlined that generate works that are coherent with their context, even if their language is disruptive.

They conceive their installations as something ephemeral due to the level of experimentation it allows and the ability this feature has to “let it be done”, a subterfuge for experimenting with new scenarios that, put in other terms, would not materialize.
