Nuno Príncipe Palhas, a.k.a. Third (b. 1979) has always pushed the rooted limits of urban art.
The inspiration comes, without a doubt, from the everyday urban culture. However he constantly tries to express his creativity beyond graffiti, mainly through illustration work.
His style highlights the realistic portrayal of three-dimensional structures. Such work comes from perfecting painting and human figure techniques. Frequently caricatured, his representations and compositions are definitely still within the realm of realistic drawing.
Third stands for the search of creativity, originality and perfection despite never doing so, only he can set his limits.
The artist follows the world’s constant evolution - motivation comes from day to day life, its habits and routines, which he then filters and processes.
