ESTAU 2022

In this 5th edition of ESTAU, Mistaker Maker was again responsible for curating and producing some of the actions that make up the program of this initiative created in 2016 under the invitation of CME (Municipality of Estarreja).

In various parts of the territory of Estarreja, it was possible to follow the work of a group of national and international artists - Pantónio, Thiago Mazza, Ruído, Mariana Duarte Santos and Daniela Guerreiro - who focused on numerous themes, which unite in the defense of local identity .

In addition to the mural interventions carried out by some of the most recognized national and international artists, this edition had a special action. Within the scope of one of the Eco Schools projects _ Walls with Life _ the Municipality of Estarreja decided to award the winning group of this initiative with a kind of immersive experience during ESTAU. The challenge would be to create, step by step and side by side with an urban artist, a mural around the city. The artist invited to guide all this action was Pitanga, who led them over 6 days of intense work, which resulted in 2 pieces.
