Rui Carvalho a.k.a Filho da Mãe (b. 1979) has a degree in Archeology from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon. He specializes in Paleolithic and attends a Post-Graduation in Geo Archaeology at the Faculty of Sciences of Lisbon, during which he dedicates himself to music, which started early with the guitar of his father (Ephemeral member of the Filarmónica Fraude).
The first stage shows with more visibility were with If Lucy Fell, a post-hardcore noise band with tendencies for awkward mathematics. Later, he dedicated himself exclusively to guitar solo with Filho da Mãe.
