At a time when Culture most needed support, INCM | Imprensa Nacional - Casa da Moeda decided to proceed with an artistic revival in homage to the various crafts of the company, which mark the factory image and its most representative products. Art assumes itself as the element of union between the various professions and the building, registering the daily routines of each task and the way in which the new technologies have contributed to the improvement of the working conditions, recognising the workers who for centuries have contributed with their knowledge and dedication to the evolution of the company.

Thus, the challenge was made to Mistaker Maker with the aim of establishing a relationship between this concept and the building, bringing art to the workers, respecting the legacy and the characteristics of the Casa da Moeda building, classified as a monument of public interest.

Tiago Galo's graphic artwork emerged as a natural option for this tribute and for an affirmation of the future at INCM.

Combining painting with architecture, the three narrative compositions of the crafts mark a path along the circulation areas of the workshops' lobby, revealing the actions of the different Organic Units of the company.

The result, which we are very proud of, prepares the company's future, creating a memory of INCM's unique crafts for future generations.
