MARIA ANA VASCO COSTA

Maria Ana Vasco Costa (b. 1981, Lisbon) is a visual artist, whose practice focuses essentially on sculpture and site specific interventions, using ceramics as the material of choice.
She graduated in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon, completing her training in Ceramics at Ar.Co – Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual, having finished with the Advanced Plastic Art Project.
She was selected for Mostyn Open 19 and her interventions have been awarded at the Surface Design Awards, UK, in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Maria Ana is currently co-responsible for the Ceramics department at Ar.Co – Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual.
