Rui Gaiola is a Portuguese photographer, dedicated to commercial, travel and nature photography. He was born in the winter of 1987 in Covilhã, but it was in Sabugal that he grew up and lived. He currently lives in Lisbon and has a degree in graphic design.
His photograph has been featured in reports in National Geographic Portugal, Observador and Público (P3) magazines. He had two photographic exhibitions “NY SF LA” and “IWICDTRF” patents in various parts of the country, and is co-founder of Inspira Natureza, a photographic experiences project, as well as co-organizer of Naturcôa, a festival dedicated to image and nature . He is the author and editor of the travel photography book “I wish I could drive these roads forever”, with photographs from Portugal, Iceland, Austria, Switzerland and the United States, published in February 2020. In that same year, he was considered by Revista Gerador “ instagrammer of the year”.
